Terms and conditions

Your photograph should be original and you must certify that the photograph is your property. If at any time, there is a challenge to the originality of your photograph An Post shall take reasonable steps to investigate the circumstances giving rise to the challenge. An Post will then make a reasonably grounded determination as to whether to uphold the challenge, and An Post’s decision on this matter will be final.

If you are over 18 years of age, the following information must be submitted with each photograph: 
1. First and last name
2. Email address
3. Title of stamp

  • If you are under 18 years of age, to submit a photograph you will require the permission of your parent, guardian or teacher who agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • If under 18 years of age in addition to your own first and last name and email address,  the first and last name and email address of the parent, guardian or teacher is required. If the photograph is chosen to be displayed on the website, the parent, guardian or teacher will be contacted in advance to confirm permission has been granted.
  • All photographs and titles shall be the property of An Post, who shall also be the owner of the copyright. An Post will not accept liability for loss or damage to any work submitted.
  • An Post is responsible for the allocation of prizes and the decision of An Post is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding that decision.
  • All photographs together with the participant’s  details (name, email address) may be used in publicity campaigns (such as social media, calendars, cards, posters and other point of sale materials). Photographs of the Users together with their names and ages may be used in publicity campaigns where the parents or guardians of the User have given their consent.
  • All personal information supplied will be used by An Post and other companies assisting An Post solely for the administration and management of the stamp design interactive resource.
  • At any time, an individual can make a written request to An Post to have access to all personal information that An Post holds about him/her. An individual may inform An Post of any changes in his/her data by contacting An Post  at info@100objects.ie; then An Post will update or delete the data held. It is the responsibility of the individual to tell An Post when information that it has provided is out of date or needs to be amended.

Privacy Policy

  • 1. The only personal information belonging to the User that will be stored as part of the application is their first name, last name and email address.
  • 2. The only personal information belonging to the User’s parent, teacher or guardian that will be stored as part of the application is their first name, last name, email.
  • 3. The information will be displayed where relevant within the application and social messages generated as part of the operation of the application.
  • 4. Email addresses will be used for the explicit purpose of contacting the User and no personal information will be shared with any third parties other than for the purpose of prize fulfillment.
